30 years later, Cosby is still right
April 6th, 2006
Bill Cosby was right thirty years ago when he said children have brain damage. “When a child does something, and you ask the child why he did it, and he says ‘I don’t knooooow!’…that’s brain damage!”.
Last week, Cosby spoke in New Orleans and encouraged the citizens of that city to “cleanse” themselves from the moral filth they have come to know.
It’s painful, but we can’t cleanse ourselves unless we look at the wound. Ladies and gentlemen, you had the highest murder rate, unto each other. You were dealing drugs to each other. You were impregnating our 13-, 12-, 11-year-old children. What kind of a village is that?
He’s still right. We would do good to listen to the comedic yet profound wisdom from this man.

Good ol’ Cosby. You just have to respect the man for taking a stand and speaking to his “people.” I know he is looked down upon in black society (I’ve had more than a couple of conversations with customers in my store), but I respect him.
