August 21st, 2007

Often times in programming, you need to get a random number, right?  Yeah.  Maybe you’re building a rotating photo album, or a nifty little Flash movie, or maybe just a random quote script.  And sure, advanced languages like PHP have random number functions built-in, to make it easy.  But I’ve come across the most feature-rich random number generator out there! I’m telling you…this baby’s got lots of user options, ensuring that you’ll get the most random number possible.  Check it out here.

Seidman on Gifts of the Spirit

August 15th, 2007

I wasn’t able to be at our church this past weekend, but I just listened to the sermon and it was super. If you haven’t heard Chris Seidman preach, take some time to listen. It will be time well spent.

Incidently, I love how he actually calls the Holy Spirit “he” instead of “it” like so many people. How would you like someone calling you “it”. I mean, maybe a zygote in the first weeks of life, but after that, c’mon! The Holy Spirit is not Cousin Itt of the Trinity!
